It emphasizes capacity-building programs for STEM faculty to improve the quality of higher education through updated disciplinary knowledge, innovative pedagogy, experiential learning, research orientation, inclusion, and stronger student outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In line with these goals, this workshop aims to empower undergraduate biology faculty with evidence\u2011based pedagogical practices and support them in developing teaching\u2013learning modules and assessments. The workshop will lay the foundation for discipline\u2011based education research in biology by enabling participants to design evidence\u2011based teaching and assessment, use classroom data for reflection and improvement, and study motivation and retention among students.
